Upcoming indie actor Ron Cieno (Ronald Nacianceno) is Coco Martin’s (Rodel Luis Cortez Nacianceno) half-brother. Ron is already part fo two movies, namely, Kasal and Tumbang Preso.

Brillante Mendoza, who mentored Coco in the indie films where he starred, is also Ron’s now. Ron attended Mendoza’s acting workshops for new talents of Centerstage Productions.

Brillante Mendoza is 2009 Cannes Film Fest best director awardee for the Coco Martin lead-starrer, Kinatay.

Compared to Coco’s fair complexion, Ron is copper-skinned. But what makes Ron interesting as an actor is his ability to deliver lines naturally. Coco Martin may not need to push very hard to see Ron as the next big star on film.
